Upon viewing our initial SDCC ‘12 Carbon Freeze Chamber photo archive entry, forum member Greg correctly suspected that I was too cheap to open my Jar Jar Binks in Carbonite figure. Not wanting us to have an incomplete archive, he graciously lent us his open sample. Click through to check out the added pics of the open Jar Jar Binks in Carbonite. Thank you, Greg!
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have scored up close loose pics of the upcoming Target exclusive Darth Maul Returns battle pack. At San Diego Comic Con, Hasbro said the Nightsister figure would work aesthetically with non-Clone Wars figure (i.e. realistic). Boy, I have to say they nailed that. This figure looks like it might have been slotted for the Vintage Collection at some point. You have to click through to check it out. The figure looks more faithful to the Sith Witch concept art than it does to the on-screen cartoon version. Amazing. Head on over to check it out.
And finally, the press photos of the Class I and II vehicles.
Here’s the press photos for wave 1 of the Clone Wars line in 2013 including one figure that fans should be thrilled to see repacked.

Jedi Temple Archives have posted the second half of their Q&A with Hasbro. This round includes a reveal of two new figures that have been tooled that are part of the original Kenner vintage line. I have to admit, I find some of Hasbro’s answers infuriating, but some aspects of the 2012 debacle were out of Hasbro’s control.
This is the second Target Special Action Figure three pack to include a new figure, the Power Droid. It also includes re-releases of the Saga collection R5-D4 and the build-a-droid (not) Death Star Droid. Click through to check it out.
